September 26, 2007 - Dallas, TX Theres something new at DFW Elite Auto Rental.com and for once it doesnt have dangerous lines, a sport grill and an unquenchable appetite for 93 octane. Instead, its a newly redesigned web presence.


For over half of our clients, the first impression they have of our Dallas exotic car rental agency is our website, said Ron Sturgeon. Our website is the front door for about half the people who do business with us. The web world moves quickly, and we needed to update our site to ensure that visitors continue to get the best experience we can give, said Sturgeon.


We completely redid the site from scratch, said Josh Davis, DFW Elite Auto Rental.coms in-house web designer. The redesign had three goals: making the web site easier to use, simpler to navigate, and better representing the luxury cars in the rental companys virtual showroom.


Weve warmed up the color palette, included new Flash elements on the homepage and added a consistent navigation on all of the web sites pages. So far, Davis informal polling of users after the site launched in August has yielded only positive feedback. One of the advantages of being web designer is the feedback, said Davis. Our visitors vote every day with their keyboards and browsers.  Fortunately, page views and time on the site are both up. 


People visit our site to rent exotic cars for birthdays, special occasions, class reunions and weddings, said Davis. They want to get as good a look at the actual rental car inside and out as they could in our showroom. Weve expanded our image galleries and added video to make virtual luxury car rental easier, added Davis.


The designer reported that video has been an excellent way to add visibility to the Dallas exotic car rental companys website. Our first exotic car video on YouTube has been viewed more than 100,000 times. Exotic and luxury cars have built in appeal to the younger male demographic that make YouTube such a successful web site according to Davis.


The redesigned DFW Elite Auto Rental.com site also features a newsletter sign up, photo galleries of recent company events and a blog covering exotic car rental news from across the nation. Visit the new site at http://www.dfweliteautorental.com.
