HYDRO 4000 MAY BREATHE NEW LIFE INTO GAS GUZZLERS

In my hometown of Dallas, Texas you see them everywhere. The poor souls who just purchased their Hummer H2s or Cadillac Escalades or similar beasts only to see gasoline prices skyrocket with no end in sight.

Before all of these people go and sell their mammoth gas guzzlers on Craig’s List for a nickel, there may just be a small ray of light at the end of the tunnel. This hope comes in the form of the Hydro 4000.

The Hydro 4000 is an apparatus that claims to increase fuel efficiency by up to 60% or more. Call me a cynic, but I have been waiting for all of the phony claims and bogus new products to start hitting the marketplace the minute gas prices started to rise.

However, early reports on the Hydro 4000 appear promising. One news channel did an investigative report on the Hydro 4000 and found that their 9 mpg van started getting over 20 mpg. That’s not bad at all.

In simple terms, the device works by creating a cleaner fuel burning environment which, its designers claim, allows for more efficient burning of gasoline in the tank and less waste. The makers of the Hydro 4000 also make a Hydro 5000 for eighteen wheelers.

I haven’t been able to determine how or if the device affects the performance of the cars it is used on. “I suspect that as prices climb, we’re going to see a lot of American ingenuity applied to the problem of improving gas mileage,” says Ron Sturgeon, owner of a company specializing in luxury car rental in Tarrant County.

Nowhere is there any mention of any compromises to performance, but Sturgeon remains cautious. “The device isn’t something we would consider on our Dallas exotic car rental fleet,” says Sturgeon. “But the Hydro 4000 is something that I wouldn’t mind giving a try to see if I could duplicate the results that some people claim for the device,” said the Texas-based entrepreneur.

Sturgeon believes that performance car enthusiasts can save much more than a few cents a gallon buy joining an exotic car sharing club. These clubs allow members to access a dream garage without enduring the costs of ownership—no maintenance, no depreciation, no storage fees—just an unmatched variety of driving experiences.

“The time for luxury car sharing is now,” insists the Fort Worth executive. “It’s a better way to get more driving pleasure for the same money,” says Sturgeon. To find a car sharing club in your home city, visit an online directory of exotic car clubs such as http://www.exoticcarclubs.com
