The Founder

DFW Elite Auto Rental.com was founded by Ron Sturgeon, a Dallas-based entrepreneur, real estate investor and author of How to Salvage Millions from Your Small Business and Green Weenies and Due Diligence. Listen to a podcast about Ron’s latest business book. See articles about our founder.

Along the automotive road to success, he was featured in INC. Magazine twice, and most recently in Millionaire Blueprints. Sturgeon, a small business consultant, has founded and built several large automotive businesses, including a chain of auto recycling centers he sold to Ford Motor Company in 1999. He also started an auto auction, which he sold to the largest public company in the segment. In 2003, with 3 investors, he purchased the auto recycling business from Ford Motor Company, which had grown to over 25 locations in 15 states. In September 2005, that company was sold to a public company, Schnitzer Industries. During his automotive career, he accumulated a significant number of exotic and classic cars, which serve as the foundation for our company. He also has a significant collection of automotive toys, a number of which are on display at our Fort Worth offices. He is well known in the automotive, banking, and real estate circles throughout North Texas. Sturgeon is a renowned small business consultant and speaker, serving as a keynote speaker for many business associations. Sturgeon has also amassed a huge collection of automotive antique toys, art, and related automobilia, collected globally over the last 25 years.
